Saying Goodbye to the Old House

We've loved this house.  It had its problems but it has been such a nice place to live and a great party house.  We'll miss it.

SAYING GOODBYE AT THE AIRPORT, THE KIDS CAME TO SEE US OFF

We'd said goodbye to my mom, brother and sister-in-law the day before but Alex stayed the night

at the motel with us in the easy chair and the kids saw us off at the airport.  The cats who had sensed something major

coming as the house disintegrated around them took the hotel fairly well and though I'm sure the trip was traumatic, they all did

well.  Goodbyes are always teary.

and we're in our new home Midi checks out our temporary bed in the guest room

SARAH COMES TO VISIT AND WE GO TO AGRA AND JAIPUR

Taj Mahal/Agra

two of the many opportunities I had to say "is that it?  How about that?"

the real masjid, the other building with the construction on top is not really a masjid as it's facing the wrong direction

it was built at the Taj for the purpose of symmetry
